MiMiC Modbus TCP/IP SIO Driver
The MiMiC Modbus TCP/IP SIO Driver provides real-time IO signal simulation for Schneider PLCs and other devices that support the Modbus TCP/IP protocol.
This Simulated IO (SIO) Driver provides real-time IO register simulation for PLCs, ESDs, or any device that supports the Modbus TCP/IP. It has been optimized to provide excellent performance with a wide range of devices using this protocol. Modbus TCP/IP registers are allocated in the Modbus TCP/IP SIO definition in MiMiC Explorer to SIO Tags. Those SIO Tags are then directly used in MiMiC simulation models.
Simulated IO definitions are easily built in the MiMiC Explorer. The graphical, intuitive user interface allows easy development and modification of the SIO definition. The user has the ability to view his configuration by absolute Modbus register, bit or register offset, or a number of other conventions.

Optimized for Use with Modbus TCP/IP Devices
The Modbus TCP/IP SIO Driver provides an easy-to-use, high-performance simulation interface to PLCs, ESDs, and other devices. Features of the SIO Driver include:
- Full read/write access to Modbus Registers.
- Supports full Open Modbus TCP/IP (RTU TCP) messaging. MYNAH Technologies is a member of the Modbus-IDA Organization, www.modbus.org.
- Supports extended Modbus addresses. There is no restriction placed on the Modbus register locations.
- MiMiC Modbus TCP/IP SIO Bridge can function as a Modbus Master or Slave.
- Supports Modbus RTU Serial communications.
- Supports direct IO Writes to 1x, 3x registers for Schneider PLCs. MiMiC must be the Modbus master for this feature.
- User-selectable byte order for Floating Point data.
- Fully tested and supported with Schneider PLCs.
- Fully tested and supported with Emerson Process Management's PROVOX Distributed Control System. MiMiC Modbus SIO Bridge functions as Modbus Slave to PROVOX Intelligent Device Interface (IDI) configured as a Modbus Master.
MiMiC Flexibility Supports All Modbus TCP/IP Training and Testing Systems
The Modbus TCP/IP Driver supports systems that are intended for team or individual operator training or application software testing environments. Connections from the MiMiC station to Modbus TCP/IP devices are over a high-speed Ethernet connection for all systems.
