MiMiC Schneider Unity SIO Driver
The MiMiC Schneider Unity SIO Driver provides real-time module parameter simulation for Schneider Unity class PLCs and PLC Simulator using OFS v3.2 or higher.
The MiMiC Schneider Unity SIO Driver has been optimized to provide excellent performance with Schneider Unity class PLC and UnityPro PLC Simulator using OFS v3.2 or higher and the OPC DA protocol. PLC and PLC Simulator Located and Unlocated variables are allocated in the Unity SIO definition in MiMiC Explorer to SIO Tags. Those SIO Tags are then directly used in MiMiC simulation models.
Simulated IO definitions are generated from the UnityPro database using the Unity OFS Utility in MiMiC. In addition, a complete low-fidelity simulation database with simple IO and device tiebacks is generated from the UnitPro database.

The Schneider Unity SIO Driver provides an easy-to-use, high-performance simulation interface for Unity class PLCs and the UnityPro PLC Simulator. Features of the SIO Driver include:
- Full read/write access to Located and Unlocated variables.
- MiMiC CAPP Interface allows direct writes to input channels.
- High-performance simulation interface using OFS v3.2 or higher.
- Fully tested and certified for UnityPro at Sophia-Antipolis testing labs, March 2004.
MiMiC Flexibility Supports All Schneider Testing and Training Systems
The Schneider Unity SIO Driver supports operator training and software testing systems that are intended for team or individual environments. Connections from the MiMiC station to the UnityPro station or OFS Server is over a high-speed Ethernet connection for all systems.
