
Adding and Validating Software Features to MiMiC
This technical note shows the steps required to add new purchased features to a MiMiC software license.
Instructions for validating add MiMiC v3 features:
Online

If you have not already installed and validated MiMiC with your existing serial numbers, do so now before proceeding.

Copy the attached site file that MYNAH emails you into the installation directory, overwriting the existing file. (The default installation directory is C:\Program Files\Mynah Technologies\MiMiC.)

Rerun the Validation Wizard,which you can find on the Windows Start menu under All Programs > MiMiC v3 > Tools.

Follow the same steps outlined in the Quick Start Guide for the Wizard. Once the Wizard is complete, all of your licensed features will be active.
Offline

Open the License Manager (Start Menu -> Programs -> MiMiC V3 -> Tools -> License Manager).
The Validation Wizard cannot be used in offline mode to add features.

Right-click on the added feature and select Activate.

Copy the Request Code to a computer with Internet access. Cancel the activation dialog once the code is copied.

Repeat Steps 2 and 3 for each additional feature required.

Send an email to v3validation@mynah.com containing the following information:
- Each desired Feature Name and Request Code pair
- MiMiC Site ID
- Your contact information

MYNAH Technical Support will reply with a Serial Number and an Activation Code for each feature in the email.

In License Manager, again right-click on the desired feature and select Activate.

Enter the Serial Number and Activation Code into the fields and select Offline for the Activation Type.

Click on the Activate button.

Repeat Steps 6 – 8 for each new feature.

The new features are now ready for use.
