The results of Control Magazine 2011 Reader's Choice Awards have been published and once again the readers of Control like MiMiC.

Increasing in our standings to second place over last year MYNAH Technologies was again recognized as a leader in the automation industry for our MiMiC Simulation Software.  As this article was being posted on Control Global our MiMiC development team was finishing the release of MiMiC v3.3.1, another breakthrough in ease-of-use and performance in dynamic process simulation for control system testing and operator training. Control Magazine has succeeded in the competitive publishing industry by delivering practical information that directly impacts the profitability of process automation and process plants.  In the same manner, MiMiC provides proven significant results on process automation projects and process plants operational excellence initiatives.  It's a practical tool that allows process automation engineers and plant operations managers save time and money and improve their plant economic performance.  

Once, again the Simulation Software Category in the Reader's Choice Awards included many different offerings.  Two of the companies mentioned (including the one that got the most votes), make excellent products for plant design and steady-state modeling. Two of the other companies listed make very intriguing solutions for factory planning and discrete production optimization.  A new entry this year is a company that makes a math and differential equations problem solver.   In the list of companies recognized, MYNAH Technologies is unique, as the only supplier of a dynamic simulation platform for control system testing and operator training: MiMiC Simulation Software.

MiMiC is unique in that it does not dictate the level of simulation complexity to the customer. MiMiC can be used to selectively apply simulation complexity depending upon the requirements of the process and the training or testing objectives. MiMiC is a dynamic simulator. Modeling functions and objects in MiMiC are designed to give accurate, dynamic simulations for a realistic operator experience at the off-line operator station.

These unique attributes of MiMiC Simulation Software allow the users of MiMiC to save time and money on their automation capital projects and improve the performance and reduce the risk of day-to-day plant operations.
