Here we are again, wrapping up another year. I think I say this every year, but I can't believe we are about to close out 2014! With the hustle and bustle of every day tasks, we think it's important to take a step back and reflect on the bigger picture of what our team has accomplished over the past year.
Once again, we look back with no regrets..maybe exhaustion, but no regrets! 2014 was a whirlwind of a year full of hard work, success, growth and of course, a lot of fun!

The MYNAH business development team traveled all over North America and Germany, not only exhibiting, but presenting our Mimic Simulation Software solution. These events are the highlight of the MYNAH business development team's year and 2014 was no exception. We love the opportunity to meet face to face with our customers and partners from all over the world that we work with remotely on a daily basis.
In 2015, MYNAH is taking the show on the road to even more conferences and tradeshows. Stay tuned to learn more about where to find us!
Not even mentioning the open projects this team is currently working on, our project team completed 15 sizeable projects in 2014 in the following industries: Oil & Gas, Corn Wet-Milling, Pharmaceuticals, Pulp & Paper, Iron Ore, Mining and Chemical.
On top of finding themselves completing 25 VDS / Simulation Consulting projects, running our internal IT department, and instructing Mimic training courses, our team of 5 Application Engineers closed over 1450 support tickets in 2014. We may have declared this group the MYNAH S.W.A.T. team this year!
This has may have been the craziest year for the MYNAH development team to date! They have been working tirelessly through 2014 for our upcoming major release of the Mimic v3.6. Mimic v3.6 is a next-generation software platform for the process industries, providing fast, easy, flexible, dynamic simulation for plant operations life cycle results. For a sneak peak of what is to come in January 2015, take a look at "MYNAH Announces Major Release of Mimic v3.6 Coming January 2015" Thank you to our awesome Development Team for making this Mimic v3.6 concept come to life! Stay tuned for the annoucement of the release next month!
In 2014, we conducted 9 week long Mimic Training Courses. We now have 67 new Mimic experts running around out there!
2014 Training Locations:
There are some big changes coming to our Mimic Training Course in 2015. We will be breaking the course up into 2 different courses: Dynamic Simulation with Mimic (3 days) and Advanced Fluid Modeling with Mimic (2 days). There is more information on our Mimic Simulation Software Training page. Also, to accomodate our extensive global client base, we will also be launching an online, modular training option in 2015. Stay tuned for more information on that!
This year, we decided to focus on giving back to the future of our industry in a couple of different ways:
First off, we were given the opportunity to sponsor the " Virtus Dynamic Chemical Engineering Student Award 2014" given by the local St. Louis chapter of the AiCHE. This award was given to the Chemical Engineering student with the highest GPA at three local univerisities. The 2014 winners are:
Also in 2014, we were very excited to announce our $1.5 million Mimic Simulation Software donation to the Missouri University of Science &Technology’s Doshi Teaching Laboratory in the newly constructed Bertelsmeyer Hall. The Mimic Simulation Software donated, in conjunction with Emerson Process Management’s donation of their DeltaV control system, created the virtual lab within the Doshi Teaching Laboratory. Together, the donation consists of a virtual lab system that hosts the simulation and software products, as well as the process control hardware and software. The virtual lab will be used for hands on, experiential learning in the Chemical and Biochemical Engineering Departments at the university.
In the beginning of 2014, we learned we were voted #1 in Simulation Software category of Control Magazine's 2014 Reader's Choice Awards.
We are very grateful to Control Magazine this award and everything they do for the process industry!
On December 12th, the MYNAH team, along with friends and family, took the time to celebrate and reflect on the past year at our annual Holiday party. President, Mart Berutti, opened the party with some thoughts & reflections over the past year. To read his thoughts he discussed at the party, view his blog here.
2014 has been year of growth and success that we could not have predicted and now we are planning for an even bigger and better 2015! Thanks to all of our customers and partners for being so great to work with and for and for an overall amazing year. 2015...here we come!
On behalf of the MYNAH Technologies family, we wish you and yours a very happy holiday season!
Cheers to 2015,
