Emerson Exchange 2011 is right around the corner and we hope to see you there on October 24-28, 2010 in Nashville, TN!

Emerson Exchange is one of the premier networking and idea exchanges in the process automation industry. This year is promising to be the largest yet, with more advanced technology, user workshops and opportunities to learn and grow.

The MYNAH team will be at booth #319 at the technology exhibit and we will be proudly showing:

We will also be supporting Emerson's Migration and Modernization exhibit, where they will be demonstrating integration and migration solutions for DeltaV including:

MYNAH experts will be presenting the following short courses:

  • Building the Virtual Plant for DeltaV- Session ID 7-2631
This short course will cover the business need in the process industries for the Virtual Plant, DeltaV Virtual Plant Architectures and Solutions, Selecting the components of the Virtual Plant,Process modeling techniques and development, Operator training best practices, System testing best practices, Business Results of the Virtual Plant.
    • Days & Times: Wed 8:00 AM and Fri 10:00 AM
    • Presenter: Mart Berutti, President & COO, MYNAH Technologies

  • Mimic Plant Simulation on Virtual Hardware- Session ID 3-2625
Plant Simulation has surfaced as a necessity for every control system. Plant Simulation via Mimic Simulation Software provides a dynamic process and I/O simulation solution designed for automation system testing and operator training. The combination of Mimic Simulation Software and VMware Virtualization Technology institute a robust virtual plant.

Other workshops about the DeltaV Virtual Plant at Emerson Exchange 2011 are:

  • Iterative Development of Simulation Based Training System- Session ID 8-2404
The team from Barrick and Lakeside present the iterative development of a Simulation Based Training System for the new Pueblo Viejo gold mine. Using simulation in a collaborative manner to mitigate uncertainty and reduce time to value. Focus is on business challenges, best practice, impact of Human Factors early in the project life-cycle, and how the system is a key enabler for identifying / correcting errors prior to commissioning.
    • Days & Times: Wed 2:15 PM and Thu 8:00 AM/li>
    • Presenters: Paul Yaroshak, Barrick Gold Corp and Kevin Argudin, Lakeside Process Control

If you are attending Emerson Exchange, please drop by our short course and/or booth #319 and look for Todd Anstine, Mart Berutti, Tom Freiberger, Edin Rakovic or myself. We would love to talk to you about Dynamic Simulation, Industrial Ethernet integration or your plant's specific operational requirements.

We are looking forward to seeing you at Emerson Exchange 2011!
