Emerson Exchange 2014 is right around the corner and we hope to see you next week in Orlando!

The MYNAH team will be at booth #504 at the technology exhibit and we will be proudly showing:

Course Demonstrations

MYNAH experts will be presenting the following short courses:

  • Life Cycle Dynamic Simulation for DeltaV- It's More than OTS: Session ID 5-2282
The Oil and Gas revolution is changing the process industries in North America. If you are in process automation or plant operations, be ready for very exciting times in the next several years. We should all be aware of the effects of the Oil and Gas industry on our energy independence and economic growth. In addition, the upstream explosion in oil and gas has an interesting side effect, low price chemical plant feedstocks, in particular Ethane, the building block of many chemical compounds
    • Days & Times: Tuesday, Oct 7 @ 2:00pm in Daytona 2 and Wednesday, Oct 8 @ 9:00am in Osceola 2.
Presenter: Mart Berutti, President/COO, MYNAH Technologies

  • Impact of Virtualization on Engineering & Training: Session ID 1-2279
Today’s automation world has a widespread use of virtualization. The industry is utilizing the advantages that virtualization can offer such as speed, flexibility, simplicity, and security. On the other side, there are some common problems that are seen with virtualization. The workshop, co-presented with Fred Rausch, will cover several real life examples and will provide real perspective from one of our biggest Virtualization Customers Cargill. Fred will share personal experience on the virtualization.
    • Days & Times: Tuesday, Oct 7 @10:00am in Miami 1 and Wednesday, Oct 8 @ 11:00am in Naples 1
Presenter: Edin Rakovic, Application Engineering Manager, MYNAH Technologies & Fred Rausch, DCS Hardware & Simulation Lead, Cargill

  • Meet the Experts: DeltaV Process Simulation for Testing & Training- Session ID MTE-2548
Learn how to train operators and test your control system with dynamic process simulation. Ask about this ideal environment that allows operators to use dynamic modeling techniques and methods including tieback and IO modeling, first principle modeling, and empirical modeling in order to improve their skills and effectively test controllers. In addition, solution architectures and the use of virtualization or cloud computing will be discussed.
    • Days & Times: Friday, October 10th @ 8:00am and 10:00am in Tampa 1-2
Presenters: Martin Berutti- COO/President at MYNAH Technologies, Rick Kephart- Director of Research & Technology at Emerson Process Management, Mark O'Rosky, Emerson Process Management

If you are attending Emerson Exchange, please drop by our short courses and/or booth #504 in the technology exhibits. We would love to talk to you about Dynamic Simulation, Industrial Ethernet integration or your plant's specific operational requirements.

We are looking forward to seeing you next week!
