On the evening of Friday, November 30, 2012, the men and women of MYNAH celebrated another great year at the annual MYNAH Holiday Party at the Wild Horse Grill, in Chesterfield, Missouri.

As the leader of MYNAH, I have the honor of introducing new people, acknowledging significant milestones in the lives of our people, and sharing my reflections on the year. To follow are some excerpts from what I shared that evening.

MYNAH - A Reason for Giving Thanks

Welcome to the MYNAH Technologies World Headquarters 2012 Holiday party. I can speak for all the men and women of MYNAH and state, without a doubt, we are glad you’re here.

Men, Women and Friends of MYNAH at the 2012 Holiday Party at the Wild Horse Grill, Chesterfield, Missouri.

MYNAH Technologies wrapped up another year of solid business growth in September and our fiscal year 2013 has been a whirlwind since its beginning in October. Our business activity continues to grow and to say that this has been a busy fall, is an understatement. It is hard to believe that Thanksgiving is behind us and we are 25 days from Christmas. However, I am not ready to give up my favorite holiday yet. Thanksgiving is always a time for me to eat some good food, relax, enjoy the last bit of mild fall weather, and reflect upon my blessings. There are many things I need to be thankful for, but one in particular is working for MYNAH Technologies. When you consider that such a large portion of your life is spent at your job, where you work and who you work with is so important. I feel especially blessed because I love working at MYNAH.

There are many reasons why I consider MYNAH such a great place to work, but three in particular I would like to mention to you tonight.

  1. The work at MYNAH is significant. Our solutions provide incredible value whether the MYNAH customer is developing new energy sources, inventing the next wonder drug, or turning rock into gold. The largest gold processing plant in the world recently claimed a $0.5B savings from their use of Mimic and MYNAH Simulation Solutions for control system testing and operator training. $0.5 Billion from a less than $0.5 Million investment- that is a significant return on investment and an indication of the value that MYNAH brings to process industries.
  2. The atmosphere at MYNAH is exciting. Our products, from Mimic to our plant floor integration solutions, are cutting edge technology. At MYNAH, we deal with the latest in computer techniques, simulation solutions, and the men and women of MYNAH are continually pushing the envelope on innovation. MYNAH products reflect this attention to new technology and techniques. After using our dynamic simulation software for the first time, a process control engineer in the western Canadian energy industry said, “I found Mimic to be so beautiful!” I don’t find many software packages that I would call “beautiful” but thanks to the work of our Mimic development team (Dean Cook, Aaron Johnson, Eric Childrey, and Wayne Hoxie) this customer is completely enjoying his simulation building experience.
  3. Finally, and most importantly, the people who work at MYNAH are exceptional. MYNAH is populated with extremely smart, driven, and yet considerate professionals. Getting to know the men and women of MYNAH has been one of the most rewarding aspects of my entire career and the main reason I love working at MYNAH. One of the support engineers at our sales partner in Virginia struggled with an Industrial Ethernet installation for weeks. Finally, frustrated, he turned to the experts at MYNAH for help and the problem was solved in a couple of hours. Overwhelmed by the technical depth, troubleshooting ability, and ability to quickly find the root cause of the issue, the engineer stated “Chuck Norris must wear Geoff Nash underwear.” I have no idea of the personal clothing preferences of Mr. Norris, but I agree Geoff is a superhero in plant floor communication. Superheros walk the halls and occupy the chairs of MYNAH solving customer problems every day.

Thank you again for joining us this evening as we celebrate the holiday season and another successful year. I am thankful to know each of you and work with you at MYNAH Technologies.

My wish for all of the men, women, and friends of MYNAH is for a very blessed and Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Hope to hear from you soon.
