What's New in this Release?

Corrections were made related to Implicit Class 1 IO messaging and Tag Access messaging. This release resolves tickets 22129 and 22403.

The following enhancements/optimizations were implemented:

This release does not contain any new enhancements.

Defects Corrected:

Following a DeltaV Download of the IO Cards, some Class 1 IO Scanner connections would have stale data. The number of connections with stale data would increase with each additional download. Rebooting the VIM would clear the stale data.

Class 1 IO Adapter connections with the “Exclude output status bytes” checkbox enabled would refuse connections from the IO Scanner when using the suggested data sizes from the Connection Definition dialog in VIMNet Explorer.

When using Class 1 IO Adapter connections on a redundant VIM, and the connections were offline at the time of a VIM switchover, the IO Adapter connections would incorrectly report a good status.

If an incorrectly formatted string was used when creating a Tag Access connection definition, the VIM would be unable to read the configuration. It would reboot when the incorrect connection definition was processed.

After a DeltaV download, some Tag Access connections would have stale data. This would affect one change event only. If the data changed again after the download, the VIM would transfer the data normally. This affected both input and output data. Output data was only affected if using Individual Write mode.
