Release Components

IOD-4116 ODVA EtherNet/IP Driver v1.3.15

Who Should Upgrade?

Recommended for all ODVA EtherNet/IP users.

What's New in this Release?

Corrections were made related to Tag Access messaging and Network light behavior.

Defects Corrected:

All connections using Tag Access would report an incorrect good status on the dataset, bad status on the registers, and have stale data. The VIM would not send any requests to the target device for the connection. If logging was enabled and the VIM rebooted, it would operate normally. (Issue DD-428, Ticket 22286)

When using a redundant pair of VIMs and Tag Access messaging, disconnecting one field device causes the standby VIM to reboot. (Issue DD-414)

If a port was disabled in DeltaV Explorer and it contained configuration that matched the configuration uploaded to the VIM, the Network light on the front of the VIM would blink. This would occur even if all the enabled devices had the correct status. The disabled devices are now ignored when setting the Network light. (Issue DD-427)
