Release Components

IOD-4116 ODVA EtherNet/IP Driver v1.3.17

Who Should Upgrade?

Required for all ODVA EtherNet/IP users.

What's New in this Release?

Corrections were made related to the handling of Class 1 IO Scanner connections where one of the data directions was zero bytes long.

Defects Corrected

When a IO Scanner (Class 1) connection was configured with one of the data directions (either Target -> Originator or Originator -> Target) having zero user data bytes, the VIM would report the error “Number of connections exceeds 128” in VIMNet Diagnostics. This error is visible by selecting the port with the offending connection. This error occurred regardless of the actual number of connections configured. This firmware allows connections with zero bytes in one direction to open normally.
