Who Should Upgrade?

Recommended for all users of VimNet Explorer.

The Following Defects Were Corrected:

  1. Corrected setting of 128 devices when VIM2 checkbox is checked/unchecked in Add IOVIM dialog for Generic Ethernet/IP firmware.
  2. Resolves connection mapping persistence of previous VIO file versions.
  3. Corrects redundant VIM displayed as simplex (following serialization).
  4. Force Class3 instance number to 1, if 0 is found during serialize or following VIO edits.
  5. Added ASCII, STRING, and PID data types to DF1 messaging.
  6. Corrected finding next available connection to traverse the whole VIM IO tree for an IO.
  7. Corrected wait for secondary VIM to become available on network following flash.
  8. Corrected capture of Class1 scanner Input and output data sizes from EDS capture utility.

What's New In This Release?

  1. Added display of signature request registers in FMC firmware global dataset.
  2. Modified redundant configuration upload to have a configurable recovery time between first and second uploads when both VIM's are uploaded at the same time.
  3. For redundant upload to both VIM's, find VIM in standby and upload that first.
  4. Modify Progress dialog messages for configuration upload to update during upload rather than from a list of expected states (for maintenance).
