IOD-4117 PROFINET

The PROFINET driver for the DeltaV Virtual IO Module (VIM2) provides a native DeltaV IO Interface to Industrial Ethernet networks and devices that use PROFINET. DeltaV Controllers can read and write signals from plant floor devices, acting as an IO Controller in a PROFINET network. This allows DeltaV to interact with PROFINET-based Motor Control Centers, PLCs, and other IO Devices using PROFINET Real-Time (RT) communications.
